Maths

We aim to help each child develop an enquiring mind and a mathematical approach to problem solving, as well as a confidence and competence with numbers and measures. We work with our children to help them to master numeracy skills and develop mathematical language and reasoning skills, providing opportunities for the development of confidence, interest and enjoyment in exploring numbers and the number system, calculation, shape, space and measurement We strive to make learning relevant to children’s interest so they can see how maths is used all the time in everyday life!
