Outdoor Learning Day

On Thursday 7th November we had our whole school outdoor learning day.

We learnt a range of skills during our activities including...

- How to build a fire and stay safe around it.

- Cooking on the fire pit, we made bread and cinnamon apples - yum!

- Using tools to create wooden necklaces.

- Creating star decorations with sticks and wire.

- Using hammers and string to build a screen and weaving foliage through it.

- Making cosy animal nests using materials we found.

We then enjoyed hot chocolate and sausages outside, and read stories in Mrs Stamp's teepee tent, it was a great day had by all!
