Dear Families,
Hope you have all had a good weekend and enjoyed the welcome sunshine. As we find ourselves starting another week of lockdown I thought I’d send you a quick email to say thank you for all the great home learning you are doing and for staying at home to do it. It seems like such a long time since we were all together at school and at times like these we are all really able to use and apply all the discussions and learning opportunities we have had about resilience and perseverance. What fabulous children we have.
I will be in school tomorrow morning to print off maths sheets, organise requested reading books and provide morning jobs for children in Year Reception and 1. If you would like printed copies of work for your child\children please reply to this email to let me know. I only need names and what you need. If you are uploading photographs of this work on Seesaw then we will see and mark it there. If not we need you to return completed work when collecting new sheets please. I will pass these on to Mrs Gill and Mrs A as needed, so we can mark the work. Please let me know by 10am and I will have them ready for collection by 12 (it takes a bit of organising).
The Local Authority have sent a document which you may find useful. It is about online safety. It applies to secondary as well as primary children but is all worth knowing. Please find it attached.
I am in school on Monday and Tuesday mornings. I will be ringing round to check everyone is okay. This may take longer than Monday and Tuesday morning so bear with us! However, if you feel you would like to speak to me ~ just for a chat, or if we can help you with anything, you can ring school during these times. Alternatively drop me an email and I will call you as soon as I see it.
Take very good care of yourselves and have a good week.
Mrs Hepworth
