This week, our Year 3 students put their maths skills to the test in the tastiest way possible—by baking cakes! As part of their learning on measurement and multiplication, the children carefully weighed ingredients in grams, calculated the correct amounts, and adjusted baking times and temperatures.

The lesson wasn’t just about numbers—it also involved teamwork, following instructions, and even tidying up afterwards! The students had great fun applying their maths knowledge to a real-world scenario, and of course, the best part was getting to enjoy their delicious creations at the end.
